FIAN Uganda NEWSLETTER JUNE – DECEMBER 2023

Over the past six months, our commitment to supporting and fortifying people’s struggles for the Right to Food and Nutrition, along with other interconnected human rights, has remained steadfast. We have persistently opposed the corporate takeover of natural resources, advocating for the empowerment of communities in asserting their sovereignty over these vital assets.

We are delighted to present our newsletter covering the period from June to December 2023. The newsletter provides insights into a spectrum of activities undertaken during this time, encompassing initiatives such as capacity building on the right to food and nutrition, facilitating community dialogues between members and their leaders, engaging with the media, and updating on the progress of legal cases, including the Kaweri case and other pertinent issues that have emerged.
